Allu Arjun saves a life, makes fans proud

When Nagaraju and Durga Prashanthi, a couple from West Godavari, were told that their 7-months-old infant son Satish was suffering from Biliary Atresia, a rare liver-related disease, they were in a pitiable position because liver replacement would cost Rs. 25 lacs.  Being too poor to afford this costly surgery, they appealed for help through the media.

Allu Arjun was among the first to respond.  The Mega hero, proving once again that he is good-hearted, offered to contribute Rs. 8 lacs for the expensive surgery at Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad.

The actor's fans are proud of their star's humanitarian gesture.

Allu Sirish set for grand Malayalam debut with Mohanlal

Allu Sirish, the younger brother of Allu Arjun, who recently got a huge hit with the Telugu film, Srirastu Subhamastu, is all set to make his Malayalam film debut in a big way. The actor will now share screen space with none other than Malayalam superstar Mohanlal.

Directed by popular director, Major Ravi, the shooting is scheduled to start very soon. Titled, 1971 Beyond Borders, this seems to be a big ticket entry for Sirish. Interestingly, Arjun is already very popular as most of his Telugu films have been dubbed in Malayalam.

Says Sirish, “I have a full length supporting role alongside Mohanlal. I play a tank commander in the film. I was keen on making a debut in Malayalam films, and this seemed to be the perfect launch. What I loved about the film is that it’s not jingoistic or anti Pakistan. Going by the mood of the nation, this is the kind of film to look out for.”

Actress Keerthy Suresh, last seen in Dhanush's 'Thodari', has been roped in to play 
Allu Arjun's love interest in his upcoming yet-untitled bilingual project which marks 
his Tamil debut, says a source.

"Keerthy Suresh is being paired with Arjun. It will be the first time they will be seen 
together on screen. The makers had several heroines under consideration; however,
due to Keerthy's popularity in Tamil as well as Telugu industries, she was eventually 
signed on," said a source from the film's unit.

To be directed by Lingusami, the project will go on the floors in February 2017.It will 
be a joint venture between Studio Green and Geetha Arts. 
The rest of the cast and the technical crew are yet to be finalised.

Currently busy shooting for Vijay-starrer Tamil entertainer 'Bairavaa',
 Keerthy also has Telugu project 'Nenu Local' in her kitty.

Actor Allu Arjun, who is basking in the success of Sarrainoduwill next team up with 
director Harish Shankar for a Duvvada Jagannadham. “It’s after seven years that
we are teaming up with Allu Arjun. Director Harish has readied a superb script which
 will be perfect for Allu Arjun’s image in the masses. Regular shooting starts from
October ” producer Dil Raju said in a statement. Dil Raju and Allu Arjun
 had previously worked in Arya and Parugu.

Tollywood movie star Allu Arjun, after working in Telugu films 
for over 10 years and doing 16 films, will finally make his 
debut in Tamil cinema. The actor who grew up in Chennai has 
time and again expressed his desire to work in a Tamil film. 
And now his time has finally come.

Allu Arjun was in Chennai on Thursday to officially announce 
his Tamil-Telugu bilingual film at a press meet. The film will 
be produced by Studio Green, which also celebrates its tenth 
anniversary this year. The new project will be its twelfth 
venture. 

The yet-to-be titled film will be directed by Lingusamy, who
has delivered several commercial hits like Paiyaa, Sandakozhi,
Vettai among others in the past.

Speaking at the press meet, AlluArjun said that Madras (now Chennai) has been an integral part of his life as he lived for about 
20 years in the city and he was carefully planning his debut in Tamil.

Producer K E Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green was also present
at the event, where he said that he was very impressed by 
Lingusamy’s narration. He also added that he felt the subject 
of the film was as strong as 2007 super hit film Paruthiveeran,
which was also a studioGreen venture.

Heroine Confirmed For Allu Arjun’s DJ - Duvvada Jagannadham

  

Allu Arjun has teamed up Gabbar Singh director Harish Shankar for his next film title DJ – Duvvada Jagannadham.The film is produced by Dil Raju . Initially, makers approached Pooja Hegde as the leading lady of this film. Later as her debut Bollywood flick, Mohenjodaro bombed at box-office, makers had second thoughts. They considered Kajal Aggarwal for the heroine’s role.

But since the actress is pairing Mega Star Chiranjeevi, makers dropped the idea of casting her. Name of Mehreen Pirzada of Krishnagadi Veera Prema Gadha fame was also heard. As per latest reports, makers are going by their first choice finally. Pooja Hegde has been confirmed as heroine for this interesting project, reveal reliable sources. 

Earlier, she acted in Mukunda and Oka Laila Kosam films, she made her Bollywood debut with the film Mohenjodaro but it disappointed the audience. Makers are yet to confirm this news officially.

Devi Sri Prasad is the music director. According to the makers, it is a romantic entertainer!! It will be released next year.

DSP to use new style for DJ

Stylish Star Allu Arjun and music director Devi Sri Prasad have a great equation. Allu Arjun has always received excellent tunes from the music director and for the next film ‘DJ – Duvva Jagannadham’, he is set to get some innovative new tunes from DSP.
According to sources, director Harish Shankar and Devi Sri Prasad have been in discussions over the music style for the film. DSP has decided to use a new style that is very different from his usual instrumentation. The movie is all set for shoot, which is expected to begin in October.
Pooja Hegde is the heroine in the film and Dil Raju is producing the big big budget project.

Devi Sri Prasad has been roped into render the tunes for the film and will have action choreography by Ram-Laxman. The hunt for the female lead opposite Bunny is said to be on and the film happens to be Dil Raju's 25th film.

 Finally it's confirmed by director Harish Shankar that Bunny start working on his Duvvada Jagannadham  and shooting starts from  September . According to him movie will strike to theater by Summer 2017.
